January - Unit Presidents will receive information packet with the NARSP Active Educator Scholarship Applications
February 11 - NARSP Newsletter articles need to be submitted
February 28 - Annual AARP Chapter/NRTA Unit Community Service Award Nomination Form due
April 8 - Local Unit Deadline to receive NARSP Scholarship Applications
May 2 - Submit NARSP “Big Apple” Award and NARSP Educational Service Award Nominations to Wauneta Peterson (Information and Nomination Forms can be found in the Spring Issue of the NARSP Newsletter)
May 13 - Local Unit submits Semi-finalist Scholarship Application(s) to Wauneta Peterson
June 2 (5 p.m.) - Dedication and Ribbon Cutting for the refurbished Cascade Fountain (aka Teacher's Fountain or Bicentennial Fountain) located at South 27th Street and Capitol Parkway in Lincoln
June 17 - Submit your Unit's Community Service/Volunteer Hours to Cathy Morgan
July 8 - NARSP Newsletter articles need to be submitted
August 19 - Annual Updaye of Unit Officers and Chairs to be submitted to Wauneta Peterson
September or October - NARSP Board of Directors’ Meeting - Date and Location TBA
October 15 - Local Unit Treasurer to remit state dues/memberships to Nancy Johnson, NARSP Treasurer and Membership
